The Grafton County Senior Citizens Council (GCSCC) seeks an enthusiastic and experienced leader for the position of Director, Littleton Area Senior Center.
The Director is responsible for the management of day-to-day operations of the multi-purpose senior center, implementation of policies and procedures, and development of programs and activities that are responsive to community needs. The Director manages the senior center's nutrition program (including home-delivered and congregate meals); manages a team of employees and volunteers; supervises coordination of the transportation program; and ensures financial accountability, including managing an annual budget.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) with minimum 3 years of management experience, experience in human services, and previous work with older adults and with volunteers. Knowledge of the community and available human services, ability to communicate effectively, and computer proficiency required.
