Field Physician Relations Representative
Location: Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex

Position Summary
The Field Physician Relations Representative is responsible for building, strengthening, and maintaining professional relationships with physicians, senior-living communities, clinical staff, and referral partners across the Dallas–Fort Worth area. This position plays a critical role in driving patient referrals to our podiatry practice and promoting our comprehensive mobile services, including the Mobile Medical Clinic, Mobile Wound Care Center, and Mobile Venous Therapy Program.
This role requires a polished communicator, self-motivated field professional, and relationship-builder who can educate community partners about our services while representing our organization with professionalism and integrity.
Key Responsibilities
Physician & Referral Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with physicians, senior-living center leadership, nurses, and community partners to increase referrals for podiatry, wound-care, and venous diagnostics.
- Conduct regular outreach visits to independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory-care communities within assigned regional territories.
- Serve as the primary liaison between community partners and the practice, ensuring timely communication, responsiveness, and high-quality service.
Outreach & Field Marketing
- Conduct on-site facility visits daily to educate staff on the benefits and appropriate referral criteria for mobile podiatry, mobile wound care, and mobile venous therapy.
- Schedule and execute events, educational in-services, and provider meet-and-greets.
- Represent the organization at community events, health fairs, and senior-living expos.
- Promote rotation schedules for mobile clinic days and ensure facilities understand how to schedule patients.
Referral Generation & Tracking
- Drive weekly referral goals for new mobile clinic, wound-care, and venous-therapy patients.
- Track outreach activity, market opportunities, and referral data in CRM or tracking tools.
- Identify gaps, trends, and new opportunities to expand partnerships and improve conversion rates.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the Mobile Clinic Team, Providers, Scheduling, Billing, and Leadership to ensure smooth workflow and exceptional partner experience.
- Provide feedback from facilities to support service improvements and operational enhancements.
Education & Training
- Educate community health teams on:
- Diabetic foot care protocols
- Identifying wound-care-eligible patients
- Venous therapy indications
- How to request mobile services or schedule appointments
- Ensure facilities have updated marketing materials, brochures, and monthly calendars.
Professionalism & Compliance
- Uphold HIPAA privacy standards and represent the practice with professionalism at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions, facility notes, and follow-ups.
- Ensure all outreach practices align with legal and ethical healthcare marketing standards.
Qualifications
Required
- 1–3 years of experience in healthcare marketing, physician liaison, senior-living outreach, or similar field.
- Strong understanding of healthcare environments, particularly senior care, home health, hospice, or outpatient medical specialties.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation (role is 75–90% travel within DFW).
Preferred
- Experience with podiatry, wound care, vascular/venous services, or mobile medical programs.
- Existing relationships with senior-living communities across DFW.
- Experience with CRM systems, referral tracking platforms (e.g., LeadingReach), or scheduling systems.
