Job Summary
As an electrician at Graese Electric, you’ll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial environments. You’ll work both independently and alongside skilled teams to deliver code-compliant, safe, and efficient electrical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Troubleshoot issues using voltmeters, ammeters, and ohmmeters
- Follow NEC regulations and all relevant safety standards
- Collaborate with project teams to meet deadlines and quality expectations
- Maintain accurate work orders and log materials used
- Keep workspaces clean and organized
- Perform inspections to identify potential hazards or code violations
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in the electrical field preferred
- Licensed electrician and/or degree or certification in electrical trade
- Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Comfortable working at heights using ladders or lifts
- Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 lbs without assistance
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical stamina
- Ability to maintain professional communication with customers and coworkers
