Inventory Control Associate

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits.
• Report discrepancies and support investigations to resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate labeling, bin organization, and location integrity.
• Assist with stock movements including replenishment, consolidation, and adjustments.
• Use handheld scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to record data.
• Follow proper safety and handling procedures at all times.
• Communicate inventory issues, discrepancies, or low stock levels to supervisors.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in designated inventory areas.
• Support receiving and picking teams as needed during downtime.
• Participate in training and development programs as directed.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of warehouse or inventory experience preferred.

Skills

• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Familiarity with WMS or barcode scanning systems a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and take direction from management.

Certifications or Licenses

• None required.

Preferred Certifications

OSHA forklift certification or other material-handling equipment certification a plus.
