Summary
The QTI Group is partnering with the Graduate School of Banking – Madison to hire a Manager, Learning Innovation & Faculty Engagement, passionate about creating and delivering world-class educational opportunities to leaders in the financial industry. This role bridges strategy and operations by leading instructional design efforts, managing the Learning Management System (LMS), and partnering with the VP, Learning Strategy & Innovation, and faculty to transition programs into blended and innovative formats. This role supports the VP in driving GSB’s innovation priority.
Primary Responsibilities:
Instructional Design & Learning Experience
- Collaborate with the VP of Learning Strategy & Innovation and faculty/SMEs to design engaging, outcomes-based courses that align with GSB’s strategic initiatives, mission, and vision.
- Provide technical oversight of LMS, revising course templates, rubrics, and style guides to ensure quality and consistency as needed.
- Support integration of multimedia, digital resources, and interactive tools (e.g., simulations, case studies, discussion boards) to enhance learner engagement.
- Review and edit instructional content to ensure clarity, accessibility, and alignment with GSB standards.
- Coach faculty on blended learning course design, instructional strategies, and technology integration.
Learning Management System (LMS) Oversight
- Serve as GSB Canvas LMS Liaison for staff, faculty, and students.
- Maintain Canvas LMS, including course creation, content updates, and faculty user management for all GSB schools and programs.
- Coordinate receipt and distribution of all course materials, descriptions, and student assignments.
- Support faculty and student communications via Canvas LMS
- Provide technical support to all Canvas LMS users as needed.
- Oversee the Canvas LMS user experience, including training, support, and guidance for faculty, staff, and students.
- Monitor and analyze Canvas LMS activity to ensure courses function smoothly and support an effective learner experience.
- Maintain and update course templates, making improvements to support consistency and learning engagement.
- Partner with the VP of Learning Strategy & Innovation to compile, analyze, and report course evaluations for all GSB programs. Provide recommendations for continuous improvement to the GSB leadership team.
Faculty/Subject Matter Expert (SME) Liaison
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to advance GSB’s strategic initiatives.
- Provide hands-on guidance and resources to help faculty integrate LMS features and apply adult learning best practices, keeping the student experience at the center.
- Collaborate with faculty leaders to plan and execute annual Specialty Schools.
Project Coordination
- Lead projects related to course builds, online program enhancements, and hybrid learning initiatives.
- Manage timelines and track deliverables to ensure smooth program implementation.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in course setup and delivery.
- Support integration of multimedia, digital resources, and interactive elements to enhance learner experience and engagement.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in instructional design, learning technology, adult education, or a related field.
- In-depth, hands-on experience with Canvas or other learning management systems, including experience with integration with other cross-functional platforms.
- Project management experience, including leading multi-stakeholder initiatives.
- Experience working with subject matter experts and faculty to develop or enhance educational content.
- Familiarity with WordPress preferred
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Learning Technology, or a related field required; Master’s or relevant instructional design certification, preferred.
- Training in learning management systems or project management, desired.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and blended/online learning best practices.
- Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a collaborative environment.

Compensation: The position offers a salary range of $65,000 - $75,000, based on experience and qualifications.

Working Conditions: Our organization follows a hybrid work structure where employees can work remotely or from the office as needed, depending on task requirements. In-person work is required during program dates. The role requires frequent mental and visual concentration, with occasional periods of high activity to meet deadlines. Evening or weekend work may be required for program support, with advance notice provided.
