Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a CDL A Truck Driver based in Middle River, MD. The CDL A Truck Driver will be responsible for operating heavy trucks to transport equipment, materials, and waste to and from job sites. Daily tasks include ensuring timely deliveries, complying with all safety regulations, performing routine vehicle maintenance checks, and collaborating with on-site teams to support construction operations. The ideal candidate should demonstrate professionalism and uphold a commitment to safe driving practices at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license and a clean driving record
- Experience in operating heavy-duty trucks and familiarity with transportation procedures in construction
- Knowledge of safety regulations and road transport compliance
- Attention to detail to perform regular vehicle inspections and maintenance
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with construction teams
- Willingness to work in a physically demanding role and adapt to outdoor working conditions
- Previous experience in commercial construction or paving projects is an advantage
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in truck operation or safety are a plus
