Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Project Manager based in Paterson, NJ. The Assistant Project Manager will support project planning, scheduling, and execution to ensure successful and timely completion of construction projects. Responsibilities include assisting with project management, coordinating logistics, expediting materials and resources, overseeing inspections, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Experience in Project Management with the ability to support and oversee various aspects of construction projects.
- Skills in Expediting and acting as an Expeditor to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources.
- Knowledge of Inspection processes and procedures to ensure projects meet quality and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in Logistics Management to coordinate and maximize efficiency in the delivery and allocation of materials for construction projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Familiarity with sophisticated construction management systems and software is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in site work or heavy highway construction is highly desirable.
