About the student
- 9th grade student
- Mom is asking for a credentialed math or special education teacher.
- Mom is looking for a tutor/teacher who has experience working with autistic students.
- The student in homeschooled and is on the autism spectrum but is considered high functioning. Mom says he just needs things broken down so he can understand them.
- The goals are for the student to be able to perform at grade level with confidence.
- Family wants 1-2 hour sessions 2-3 times a week.
- Family is seeking a tutor who can meet at their home in Stamford.
Qualifications
- Ideal candidates have a teaching credential in mathematics.
- Ideal candidates will have prior experience working with autistic students.
- Willing to travel within your preferred local radius to meet the student (typically 5-10 miles)
- Due to insurance requirements, applicants must not be a minor.
Student Availability
TUE, THUR, FRI: 6:00pm-9:00pm
SAT: 2:00pm-9:00pm
Pay & Benefits
- $30.00-$35.00 per hour
