About the student

• 5th grade student
• The student needs to work with a tutor for support with math (focus) and reading.
• The family would prefer a tutor who has experience working with students with ADHD.
• The student is a 5th grader attending Circleville Elementary. He needs help getting caught up to grade level. He used to be good in math, but he has begun to fall behind because he cannot remember the multiple steps needed as the math gets harder. His main focus is math, but he may also need some support in reading.
• The goal is for the student to get caught up to grade level while becoming a stronger student overall.
• The family wants 1 hour sessions 1-2 times a week, between 3pm-7pm, any day Monday through Friday.
• The family is seeking a tutor who can meet at the Pickaway County Library at 1160 N Court Street in Circleville.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidates have prior experience working with elementary school students.
• Ideal candidates will have prior experience teaching/tutoring math and ELA.
• Ideal candidates will have experience working with students with ADHD.
• Ideal candidates will be a credentialed teacher.
• Willing to travel within your preferred local radius to meet the student (typically 5-10 miles)
• Due to insurance requirements, applicants must not be a minor.

Student Availability

MON-FRI: 3:00pm-7:00pm

Pay & Benefits

• $26.00-$28.00 per hour.
