About the student
- 4th grade student
- The student is looking to work with a tutor for support in his reading, math, and for general homework support.
- The family would love a tutor with a strong math background.
- The student is average in reading but needs significant support in writing; he struggles to write and expand paragraphs, and his mom believes he's still at a first-grade level. In math, he requires reinforcement of concepts. Ensure he receives general homework help and stays current with assignments. His mom feels he's missing a lot in the classroom.
- The goal is for the student to feel confident and stay ahead of his grade level to excel in his work.
- Family wants 1 hour sessions 1-2 times a week, on Tuesday and Thursday, between 3pm-8pm.
- Family is seeking a tutor who can meet at their home in Pacific Palisades.
Qualifications
- Ideal candidates have prior experience working withelementary students.
- Ideal candidates will have prior experience teaching/tutoring elementary students in math and ELA.
- Willing to travel within your preferred local radius to meet the student (typically 5-10 miles)
- Due to insurance requirements, applicants must not be a minor.
Student Availability
TUE & THUR: 3:00pm-8:00pm
