About the student
- 12th grade student
- The student needs to work with a tutor for help his Biology class.
- The student is an English language learner and knows more Spanish than English. It would be helpful (not required) to have a tutor who is fluent in both Spanish and English.
- The student is doing well overall but he continues to struggle. He finds the vocabulary and terminology in his biology class confusing and needs support to work through his homework, as he often has difficulty understanding how to complete the assignments.
- The goals are for the student to better understand the material in his classes and pass with good grades.
- Family wants 1 hour sessions once a week on Monday between 5pm-9pm.
- Family is seeking a tutor who can meet at their home in Camus.
Qualifications
- Ideal candidates have prior experience working with high school students.
- Ideal candidates will have a strong Biology background.
- Ideal candidates will be bilingual in Spanish & English.
- Willing to travel within your preferred local radius to meet the student (typically 5-10 miles)
- Due to insurance requirements, applicants must not be a minor.
Student Availability
MON: 5:00pm-9:00pm
Pay & Benefits
