About the student
- 11th grade student
- The student needs to work with a tutor for support in Pre-Calculus.
- The student needs some help with test-taking skills, as that's where her lowest grades are coming from in the class. Mom says she's doing A's on all her homework, but she's flunking most of her exams and starting to feel discouraged, losing a lot of confidence. Mom would like the tutor and her to work together to identify what may be causing the confusion and disconnect in the class, and to take some extra time to review and support her test prep skills to make sure she's really understanding the material.
- The main goal for the student is to understand the material thoroughly so she can perform better in exams and pass the class with an A.
