About the student
- 10th grade student
- The student needs to work with a tutor for support with his Algebra 2 class.
- Due to the tutoring being funded by a program the tutor must be a credentialed teacher.
- The student just started the class, and so far he has a 100% in the class. This tutoring is purely to help him stay on track.
- The goal is for the student to work with a tutor to ensure he can stay on track in this class.
- The family is asking for 1 hour sessions once a week during their available times. They are available Monday 5pm-8pm, Friday 5pm-6pm, and Saturday 10am-1pm.
- The family is seeking a tutor who can meet at the Acreage Branch Library at 15801 Orange Blvd in Loxahatchee.
Qualifications
- Ideal candidates have prior experience working with high school students.
- Ideal candidates will have prior experience tutoring or teaching high school math/Algebra.
- Ideal candidates will have a teaching certification.
- Willing to travel within your preferred local radius to meet the student (typically 5-10 miles)
- Due to insurance requirements, applicants must not be a minor.
Student Availability
MON: 5:00pm-8:00pm
FRI: 5:00pm-6:00pm
SAT: 10:00am-1:00pm
Pay & Benefits
