Student Application Specialist

Position Summary:

The Student Application Specialist assists prospective students throughout the application and onboarding process. This role requires strong communication, accurate documentation, and the ability to manage a high daily call volume. The position operates under a hybrid schedule, requiring 2–3 in-office days each week, with mandatory in-person onboarding and training.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance and support to prospective students completing applications
• Conduct a high volume of inbound and outbound calls daily
• Send follow-up texts and emails following each student interaction
• Maintain accurate student data within CRM and enrollment systems
• Use standardized scripts and communication procedures
• Collaborate with Enrollment and Applications teams to streamline workflows
• Attend all required meetings, trainings, and development sessions
• Comply with FERPA regulations and organizational policies
  
  
  

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Minimum of 85 calls per day
• Minimum of 2 student registrations per day
• All new leads must be contacted within 24 hours of the request
  
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
• Proficiency with CRM systems, call-handling tools, and computer applications
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
• Reliable internet connection for hybrid work
• Availability for required in-person training and weekly office attendance
  
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Customer service or call center experience
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, but not required
• Strong problem-solving and student-centered mindset
  
  
  

Work Schedule:

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
• Hybrid schedule with 2–3 in-office days weekly, more as needed
• Required participation in meetings, trainings, and departmental events
