Job Overview:
We are seeking experienced, compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistants to join our healthcare team. As a Nursing Assistant, you will provide essential support to patients and assist with their daily activities. Responsibilities
- Must have a working cellphone for clocking in and out
- Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.) as directed or needed
- Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
- Help patients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety and comfort
- Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when applicable)
- Ability to perform the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
- Perform light housekeeping duties
- Be a pleasant and supportive caregiver
- Document patient information accurately and maintain confidentiality
- Report any unusual incidents
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
Skills
- Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking within dietary restrictions
- Ability to adhere to health and safety standards
- Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant or in a similar role preferred
- Respectful and compassionate to client and client’s family
- Superior time management skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependable with strong ethics
- Physical endurance to complete shift
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Compassionate nature and genuine desire to help others
