Scrum Master
Location: Minneapolis, MN (Onsite, Day 1)
Hourly Rate: $40 USD/hour

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join our team onsite in Minneapolis, MN. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience facilitating Scrum events, coaching teams, and driving Agile practices in a banking/financial domain. This role requires strong communication skills, expertise in Jira, and experience in managing multi-vendor/onshore-offshore teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos.
- Guide and coach the Discovery team to ensure delivery of stories and designs within timeline commitments.
- Promote self-organization, continuous improvement, and Agile best practices within the team.
- Partner with Product Owners, Program/Project Managers, Business Architects, UX Designers, and Tech Leads to drive discovery scope and planning conversations.
- Act as a liaison for internal and external stakeholders, addressing queries and escalating key risks or issues.
- Ensure effective use of Jira and related tools, including Roadmap plugin features.
- Encourage and support knowledge sharing across multi-vendor and offshore/onshore teams.
- Continuously identify and implement process improvements based on retrospectives.
Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years of experience as a Scrum Master.
- CSM certification preferred.
- Experience in banking or financial domain preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Agile principles, Scrum practices, and team coaching.
- Proven experience facilitating multi-vendor and onshore/offshore Scrum teams.
- Proficient in Jira and Agile project tracking tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work onsite in Minneapolis, MN from day 1.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
