Lead MERN Stack Developer
We are seeking an experienced Lead MERN Stack Developer to drive solution design, development, and delivery for large-scale enterprise applications. This role requires a highly skilled full-stack engineer with strong functional analysis capabilities, hands-on technical leadership, and the ability to guide teams in an agile, innovation-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Solution Design
- Lead solution design discussions and drive design approvals.
- Champion both technical and functional solutions across the full stack.
- Oversee programming functions to ensure builds are stable, secure, scalable, and aligned with business requirements.
Application Development
- Develop and maintain enterprise-grade web applications using the MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
- Implement responsive UI components ensuring exceptional user experience.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, performance, and scalability.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
Quality, Collaboration & Delivery
- Follow and enforce Agile delivery methodology.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing software.
- Conduct code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with designers, product managers, and developers.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and continuously improve development processes.
- Leverage AI tools such as GitHub Copilot to accelerate development.
Required Skills, Qualifications & Experience
- 8 years of experience in the IT industry.
- Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise-scale applications using the MERN stack.
- Proven background as a Senior or Lead MERN Developer.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6 ).
- Expertise in React.js, Node.js, MongoDB, and NestJS.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating third-party APIs.
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and front-end fundamentals.
- Strong grasp of authentication/authorization standards (e.g., JWT, OAuth).
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
