Business Analyst I (IT / Data Analysis)

Key Responsibilities

• Research, define, and document business processes and objectives with a focus on data quality and process documentation
• Support small to medium-sized projects, actively participating in all phases under manager guidance
• Gather, analyze, and synthesize business and data requirements using established tools and methodologies
• Identify risks, track timelines, costs, and resources, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders
• Partner with functional and strategic teams to ensure a unified approach to process implementation
• Analyze current processes, evaluate alternatives, assess feasibility, and recommend improvements
• Assist in the development and execution of test plans for new or updated processes
• Create and maintain user guides and support training for internal users as needed
• Prepare clear documentation, findings, and recommendations to ensure project commitments are met
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving technologies and business analysis practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience researching, documenting, and improving business processes
• Strong business analysis, data management, and quality data entry skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver high-quality work with minimal supervision
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related computer applications
• Ability to work independently in an office environment and meet deadlines

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Systems, or a related field
• OR
• Equivalent combination of post–high school education and professional experience totaling 4 years

Experience

• 2–5 years of experience in business analysis, data quality, training, and/or project management
