Move Manager (Team Lead)

Overview

We are seeking compassionate, detail-oriented professionals to collaborate directly with our clients and support team. Please note: This is NOT a general labor/heavy lifting mover position. Team Leads are project managers, team leaders, and caring supporters of our clients. You will be the key contact for the client on a move, downsize, or home clear-out project.

Looking for candidates in the Maryland area - Washington, Frederick, Montgomery, Carroll, Howard, Anne Arundel, and Baltimore County areas, as well as the DC and Northern Virginia region.

Duties

• Manage Projects: Oversee all aspects of clients’ projects, including decluttering, downsizing, packing, unpacking, and organizing.
• Lead Teams: Direct a team of Move Associates & Movers to ensure best practices are followed and jobs are completed in full. Collaborate closely with Moving Crew Lead.
• Client Support: Manage client relationships professionally and compassionately during stressful and emotional situations.
• Administration: Maintain paperwork, reports, lists, and records in an organized manner throughout the project.
• Hands-On Work: You will also work as a Move Associate assisting with sorting, packing, and unpacking.

Qualifications & Experience

• Leadership: Exudes confidence and leadership ability with excellent communication skills. Strong organizational skills and eye for detail.
• Tech Savvy: Ability to utilize Google Workspace on personal cell phone and computer to communicate with clients & operations department.
• Transportation: Reliable transportation and willingness to drive 50 miles based on the location of the job (mileage reimbursed).
• Compassion: A joyful, patient, ethical and understanding demeanor is essential.
• Customer Service: Strong background in customer service with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients.
• Bonus: Experience working with adults over 65, an interest in downsizing/organizing, home design, making spaces functional and safe, a social work background.

We offer a full range of services to coordinate and oversee every aspect of the moving process, including downsizing, packing, moving, organizing, paper sorting, floor planning, unpacking, and set-up.

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
