Role Description This contract LCSW/LMSW/LPC role is an on-site position located in Gulfport, MS. The clinician will provide individual, adolescent, couples, and family counseling, including intake assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing psychotherapy sessions. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation, coordinating care with other providers when appropriate, and adhering to ethical and regulatory standards. The role also involves participating in case consultations, implementing evidence-informed interventions, and supporting clients in crisis stabilization and long-term recovery. Flexibility, professional boundaries, and commitment to culturally responsive care are essential in this position.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in Social Work and Medical Social Work, with the ability to assess psychosocial needs and connect clients with appropriate resources.
- Proficiency in Case Management, including care coordination, advocacy, and follow-up to support continuity of services.
- Strong foundation in Mental Health, including assessment, diagnosis within scope of license, and development of effective treatment plans.
- Experience in Behavioral Health, using evidence-informed interventions to address mood, anxiety, trauma, and relationship issues.
- Active licensure as LCSW, LMSW, or LPC in the state of Mississippi (or eligibility to obtain), in good standing.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain professional boundaries across diverse populations.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting, manage a caseload, and maintain thorough, compliant clinical documentation.
- Prior experience in outpatient therapy or community mental health settings is preferred; training in specific modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR, family systems) is a plus.
