About Us:
Graceful Path Youth Home is a new residential care provider in Gastonia, NC, dedicated to supporting adolescent girls ages 13–17. We are seeking dependable, compassionate Evening Direct Care Providers to supervise residents after school, during recreation, and through evening routines.
Position Summary:
Evening Direct Care Providers are responsible for supporting youth after school hours, ensuring a safe, structured, and positive environment. This role supervises homework, meals, recreation, and evening wind-down while modeling appropriate behavior and life skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise residents after school and during evening routines.
- Assist with homework, meals, and recreational activities.
- Model positive coping skills and provide behavioral support as needed.
- Conduct routine headcounts, safety checks, and documentation.
- Communicate with overnight and daytime staff for smooth transitions.
- Maintain accurate shift logs and incident reports.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (experience in human services preferred).
- Valid Driver’s License.
- CPR, Bloodborne Pathogens, and De-escalation certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Must pass background check and drug screening.
- Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented.

Schedule
