Grace Village Retirement Community is seeking a compassionate, energetic, and creative Activities Team Member to join our team. If you enjoy working with seniors and have a passion for creating meaningful experiences through music, arts, games, discussions, and special events, we'd love to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Plan and lead engaging activities for residents
- Facilitate arts and crafts, games, music programs, and themed events
- Encourage resident participation and social engagement
- Build positive relationships with residents and staff
- Complete activity documentation and light charting as required
- Assist with special events, holiday celebrations, and community activities
- Help create a fun, welcoming, and supportive environment
Qualifications
- Creative, enthusiastic, and dependable
- Compassionate with a genuine desire to serve seniors
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for enriching the lives of older adults
- Previous activity, recreation, customer service, or senior care experience is a plus, but not required
