What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Order Selector position at Grace Staffing C&C?
We are a staffing agency seeking a Bilingual English/ Spanish motivated Order Selector to work on-site at one of our food manufacturing warehouse clients. Not remote. This is a 100% in-warehouse role. Work Environment: This is a cold warehouse. You must be comfortable working in refrigerated conditions for the full shift. Appropriate jackets, clothing, and boots are required.
Responsibilities:
- Select and prepare products according to customer orders and pick list and accurately pick products
- Operate an electric pallet jack / Forklift to safely to move pallets and products
- Load and organize products for shipping while preventing damage
- Maintain accurate inventory and report shortages, damages, or discrepancies
- Perform basic inventory counts as needed
- Follow food safety, quality, and warehouse SOPs at all times
- Communicate with supervisors and warehouse team members regarding order status and inventory issues
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse, order selecting, picking, or distribution experience preferred
- Ability to work in refrigerated/cold warehouse conditions for the full shift
- Ability to lift 30 lbs, move, and handle products and pallets safely
- Forklift operation skills
- Understanding of safety compliance requirements
- Bilingual English/ Spanish required.
Position Details
- Location: Moonachie, NJ (client’s warehouse)
- Schedule: Mon–Fri 7am to 3:30pm OT as needed
- Pay: starting $18-20/hour, based on experience
- Type: Full-time through our Staffing Agency Grace Staffing C&C. Temp-Perm
