Grace's Place is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Daycare professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childcare, with experience in nurturing and educating young children. This role involves creating a safe and engaging environment for children aged 6 weeks-5 years old, ensuring their developmental needs are met while providing supervision of staff daily.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for running center in accordance with Grace's Place polices, as well as DCFS protocols
- Provide nurturing care for children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Able to tour a center effectively and keep center above 80% enrollment
- Implement daily schedules for staff and classrooms
- Maintain a clean and organized workplace environment
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff and children
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in childcare, 2 years working as a director/assistant director
- Knowledge of all state agency regulations, including DCFS and CCR&R
- Experience working with students or children with disabilities is a plus.
- Associates degree in ECE or higher education
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with parents and staff.
- A passion for educating young children and fostering their development in a supportive environment.
- Ability to run day to day operations
