Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Host to join our team at Grace’s Mandarin. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued while contributing to an exceptional dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly as they arrive and escort them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently.
- Provide menus and explain daily specials to guests.
- Assist with guest inquiries and ensure a positive dining experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand and dining area.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar systems is a plus.
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling reservations and inquiries.
