Position Summary
Grace Roofing and Sheet Metal Enterprise is a family owned and operated company specializing in Residential and Commercial roofing. We have an immediate opening for a CDL Class A or B Driver to join the team. The CDL Driver is responsible for transporting roofing materials, equipment, and supplies to and from job sites, warehouses, and suppliers. This role plays a critical part in ensuring projects remain on schedule by delivering materials safely, efficiently, and accurately while maintaining compliance with all DOT regulations and company safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate CDL class vehicles, including flatbeds and dump trucks.
- Transport roofing materials, equipment, and supplies to residential and commercial job sites.
- Load, secure, and unload materials in accordance with company procedures and DOT requirements.
- Inspect vehicles before and after each trip and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
- Verify load accuracy and ensure materials are delivered to the correct locations.
- Assist warehouse personnel with loading and organizing materials when needed.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, project managers, warehouse staff, and job site supervisors.
- Follow all federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance of company vehicles.
- Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with customers, vendors, and crews.
- Assist with material handling and occasional labor tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Clean driving record and ability to meet company insurance requirements.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of commercial driving experience.
- Ability to safely operate trucks and secure loads.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety requirements.
- Ability to lift 75 pounds.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Cooperative, problem solving behavior with co-workers, customers, and supervision.
- Operates a variety of equipment, including but not limited to forklifts, aerial lifts (man lifts), and other mobile machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
