About Grace Ridge Early Learning School:We are a faith-based preschool dedicated to helping children learn, grow, and thrive in a safe, loving environment. Our mission is to nurture each child’s academic, social, and spiritual development.
The Role:We’re looking for a passionate Preschool Director to lead our school, inspire our staff, and create an engaging, high-quality learning experience for children and families.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead daily operations and ensure a smooth-running preschool program
- Mentor, support, and grow a talented teaching team
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities
- Build strong connections with families and the local community
- Maintain health, safety, and licensing compliance
What We’re Looking For in a Candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field preferred (Master’s preferred).
- 3–5 years (minimum of 2 years) of experience in early childhood education, including leadership or supervisory roles.
- 1 year experience in leadership working with direct reports preferred.
- Ability to maintain a budget while seeking growth and improvement opportunities
- Create attainable and stretch goals for the team, ability to provide clear direction and drive to maintain family-like morale.
- Knowledge of child development and early learning standards along with plans to continue education and stay up to date with techniques and standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to assist directly in the classroom as needed along with physical demands as needed:
- Climb stairs
- Lift up to 40lbs throughout day
- Est. standing/walking 40%/sitting 60%
