ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:(During Mealtimes)
- Portion food/beverages
- Work tray line position
- Wash/Sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and carriers
- Prepare resident nourishments
- Service coffee hour and special functions
- Assist Chef
- Read and arrange diet card tray identification labelsin proper order
- Stock Shelves
- Use, clean, and sanitize assigned areas
- Maintain confidentiality
- Project a positive image of the organization indealing with residents/clients, coworkers, and public
- Additional duties as assigned
ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS: (Housekeeping)
- Clean resident's rooms, common areas, bathrooms, furniture/furnishings according to job policies and procedures.
- Follow manufacture procedural guidelines when using tools
- Operate equipment and handling of chemicals
- Must be able to read and understand labeling along with the Safety Data Sheet
- Removal of debris and soiled linen
- Understand and follow proper infection control policies and procedures
- Has access to confidential information/records and maintains confidentiality
- Project a positive image of the organization in dealing with residents/clients, co-workers, public
- Must be able to communicate orally and/or in writing with residents, co-workers, families, public
- Additional duties as assigned
PHYSICALREQUIREMENTS:
- Lifts and carries food supplies weighing 50pounds occasionally; lifts and carries dishes, food trays weighing up to 25pounds frequently
- Occasionally pushes/pulls dish lowraters/dishcarts weight 250-400 pounds a distance of 70 feet
- Constantly grasps, frequently twists, stoops,bends
- Frequently works on slippery, wet floors
- Frequently reaches at or below shoulder height, occasionallyreaches above shoulder height,
- Occasionally climbs step stool, stairs, andkneels
- Frequently exposed to hot, humid conditions andtemperature changes
- 100% of work day is spent indoors; 50% of workday is spent standing, 50% of work day is spent walking
- Must be able to communicate orally and/or inwriting with residents, coworkers, families, and public.
