- Assist in the assessment of patients' health status and report any changes to the supervising nurse or physician.
- Provide compassionate care to patients, ensuring their comfort and dignity at all times.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Support daily living activities for individuals in assisted living or hospice care settings.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the facility.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is essential.
- Experience in medication administration within a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Prior experience in senior care, including nursing homes or assisted living facilities, is highly desirable.
