Grace Management is seeking a dynamic Operations Specialist to join our growing team in the Texas region. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a company known for its strong culture, collaborative environment, and commitment to excellence in senior living. This role requires extensive travel (up to 100%), following a 10 days on / 4 days off rotation.
Position Overview
As part of the Operations Team, the Operations Specialist plays a critical, hands-on role supporting communities across the Grace Management portfolio. Assignments are directed by the Divisional Vice President of Operations and often include serving as an Interim Executive Director or leading special projects.
In interim leadership assignments, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of a senior living community, ensuring compliance, operational stability, and a positive experience for residents, families, and team members during times of transition.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide interim leadership and operational support to communities as assigned
- Oversee daily community operations in alignment with company policies, mission, and regulatory requirements
- Lead, coach, and support department supervisors and staff
- Drive resident, family, and associate satisfaction and engagement
- Manage recruiting, hiring, performance management, and employee relations
- Ensure financial oversight, including budgeting, reporting, accounts receivable/payable, and rent collection
- Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality of resident and associate information
- Partner with home office teams to meet financial, payroll, and operational deadlines
- Oversee purchasing, vendor management, and capital improvement initiatives
- Support sales and marketing efforts to meet occupancy and revenue goals
- Coordinate move-ins and move-outs and guide families through the transition process
- Address and resolve concerns from residents, families, and staff
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including survey readiness and corrective actions
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide leadership support during emergencies
- Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly operational reports
Additional Responsibilities
- Support resident-centered programming and engagement initiatives
- Participate in meetings, trainings, and company events
- Assist with resident-related activities as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Willingness to travel extensively (up to 100%) on a 10 on / 4 off schedule

- Strong knowledge of senior living operations and regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management systems
