Creative Brand Manager

We currently have an opening for a Creative Brand Manager for Bridgewater Candle Company. This individual will be responsible for driving the brand strategy, from concept to launch, according to the brand standards. This includes all new fragrance and product development processes from start to finish.

We are seeking an individual that has excellent graphic and design skills that strives for excellent customer service to internal and external customers. This candidate should have a desire to create great product strategy, to position the brand for growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Leads product development efforts and strategy for the brand including research, mockups, spec sheets for sourcing, packaging for multiple product launches per year.

· Create product packaging that is consistent with established brand standards, compliant with industry standards of regulatory guidelines, on-trend, and set up correctly for fulfillment vendors and printers.

· Consistent and knowledgeable communication with printing and packaging vendors for multiple overlapping projects at any given time.

· Communicate and problem solve with internal departments and leadership on product development follow through and launches.

· Create seasonal catalogs and any marketing material needed for the brand marketing and sales efforts.

· Work side by side with project managers on print projects to obtain all the information needed for vendor quotations and processes.

· Occasional execution of digital or printed pieces that support multiple sales channels, advertising, social media, PR, and internal communications.

· Work with Receiving to approve any printed in-coming raw materials

· Researching color, décor and graphics trends in the marketplace.

· Other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Product Development & Marketing

The Ideal candidate will also possess the following skills:

· Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.

· Able to promptly answer support related email, phone calls and other electronic communications.

· Self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized.

· Ability to respond proactively to sales, brand teams, production and product development lab team needs.

· Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills.

Education and/or Experience:

· Software requirements: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Microsoft Products

· Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Arts or Marketing or 5 years’ experience graphics/marketing field

Must possess superior skills in researching the science of fragrance and end consumer products.
