Pre-Kindergarten Aide at Grace Lutheran School
Grace Lutheran School in Fargo is hiring a Pre-Kindergarten Aide to begin on January 5, 2026. GLS's Pre-K is a Step 3 Quality Rated childcare through Bright and Early North Dakota and is licensed by the NDDOH. The school's mission is to provide Christ-centered learning for Christ-centered living to strengthen faith, to love and serve church and community to the glory of God.
Grace Lutheran School's Pre-Kindergarten is a full-day program (8:30 am - 3:10 pm) serving 4 and 5 year olds from Monday-Friday alongside a K-8 elementary program from August to May with summer off, if desired.
Required Qualifications:
- Love of children and desire to work in a Christian environment
- Must pass an FBI background check
- Must possess or obtain within 60 days Pediatric CPR and First Aid training
- Must possess or complete with 60 days training hours through Growing Futures (Early Childhood Registry), including Mandated Reporter Training
- Must possess positive, consistent classroom management skills
- Must be supportive of the primary classroom teacher
- Must have good communication skills
- Must be able to play outdoors throughout the entire year
Duties:
- Assist the primary classroom teachers.
- Outdoor recess
- Support educational activities
- Help maintain a safe environment
- Assist with clean-up after activities
- Make sure equipment and supplies are in good working order and safe
- Accompany students to music and gym classes
- Assist with rest time
Pay based on experience level.
Interviews will take place after Thanksgiving.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
