- Supervise nursing and CNA Staff
- Implement and Direct Patient Care according to established plans of care, in conjunction with DON
- Provide clear communication to all nursing staff
- Hold staff accountable to job responsibilities
- Monitor overall clinical status of residents including, but not limited to; weights, Intakes, hydration status, elimination status, showers
- Assure nurse and CNA tasks and completion of documentation
- Participate in on-call rotation
- Participate in monthly staff meetings
- Provide encouragement and coaching to CNA staff
- Assist in identifying performance improvement activities
- Assure staffing throughout the campus
- Provide direct patient care as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Valid Wisconsin Registered Nurse license
- Three to five years nursing experience with a minimum of 2 years in long term care
- Must possess leadership qualities and excellent communication skills
- Supervisory experience preferred
- BSN preferred
- Follow/adhere to organization, federal/state regulations and guidelines, including resident/client rights, standard precautions, fire safety, and first aid
- Lift/carry up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Push/pull medication carts up to 300 pounds occasionally
- Twist, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, reach, walk, and stand frequently
- Able to communicate orally and/or in writing with residents, co-workers, families, and the public
