Part Time Receptionist- Every Other Weekend
This position is at our Community at Rockhill, a Grace Inspired Living Community located at 3250 State Road in Sellersville, PA
Founded in 1935, the Community at Rockhill (www.communityatrockhill.org) is a residential community for adults 65 and older located in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. As a Life Plan Community, Rockhill offers a continuum of care that includes Residential Living, Personal Care for adults who need assistance with daily activities, and Health Care for individuals in need of 24-hour support.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for answering and directing the telephone calls that come in to the main switchboard and greeting and directing residents and guests.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serves as telephone operator to screen and transfer calls to proper departments
Handles in-coming and out-going mail.
Serves as receptionist in greeting vendors, families, visitors seeking assistance and/or information.
Performs general office work such as making copies, folding, shredding, faxing, small amounts of typing and any similar jobs requested.
Respond to emergency calls.
Comes to work as scheduled and demonstrates dependability and punctuality.
Responsible for following all performance standards performing duties according to established administrative policies and procedures. This shall include, but not be limited to Resident’s Rights, Safety & Infection Control practices.
Responsible for compliance with Federal, State and Local Regulations within job limitations.
Respects the rights and confidentiality of all our residents at all times. Be professional when addressing fellow staff members, residents and/or their families.
Responsible for following all the community’s policies and procedures as outlined in Employee Handbook.
Attends all Mandatory In-Services seminars and general In-Services as scheduled.
Adheres to proper “dress code” for position as outlined in Employee Dress Code regulations, including wearing identification badge. Present a neat, clean and professional appearance.
Accepts assigned duties in a cooperative manner.
Performs other related duties as requested by administrative staff.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Education
High School diploma or current high school student.
Experience
One year prior clerical or secretarial experience

Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret general business correspondence. Speak in a pleasant, clear voice. This individual must relate cordially to people with a variety of backgrounds who visit Lutheran Community at Telford.
This individual must be able to speak and write the English language in an understandable manner in order to communicate with residents, employees, family members, volunteers and the public.
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers and decimals and units of money.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
Possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook.
