Job Overview
Grace House of Itasca County is seeking a reliable, empathetic and detail-oriented Site Supervisor to join our shelter team. This role supports the day-to-day evening operations of the shelter, helps prepare meals for guests, responds to guests needs, and helps maintain a safe, respectful and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Help prepare meals for guests.
- Respond to guest needs in a timely, compassionate manner.
- Complete accurate and timely care notes.
- Support the safety and structure of the shelter environment.
- Follow shelter policies and procedures.
- Communicate important updates and concerns to appropriate staff.
Qualifications
- Reliable, dependable and able to work independently.
- Empathetic and able to work well with individuals experiencing homelessness.
- Strong documentation and care note skills.
- Ability to maintain professionalism in a busy shelter setting.
- Previous experience in human services, shelter work, caregiving or related fields preferred but not required.
Schedule
Hiring for 2 Positions
- Monday through Friday (4pm-10pm)
- Saturday and Sunday (10am-5pm)
Pay
- Starts at $17.00/hour
- Increases to $18.00/hour after 90 days
