What are the responsibilities and job description for the Esthetician position at GRACE HOSPITAL?
Job Summary:
An Esthetician at The Well House must be able to administer all Esthetic Treatments and Procedures on patients including Facials, Chemical Peels, Dermaplaning, Waxing and Body Treatments. You must possess a thorough knowledge of the skin, have excellent facial massage and skin extraction techniques, possess excellent sanitation skills and be willing to train in our spas specific facial and body treatment offerings. You must possess excellent communication skills and be able to learn the product and service knowledge necessary to effectively provide beauty solutions to meet the needs of our guests. Must hold and maintain a current state license.
Qualifications:
- Must hold and maintain a current State license.
- Past working experience in medical practice, hotel, spa or beauty salon.
- Additional skill set desirable: i.e. peels, dermaplaning, lasers.
- Fluency in English.
- A warm, engaging personality, especially when interacting with clients.
- Keen interest in enhancing professional skills.
- Prior retail sales experience.
- Existing client base preferred.
- Must be available to work on Wednesdays & Saturdays
Responsibilities:
- Be on time for your shift, prompt with each appointment and perform services within the appropriate time allotted for the service.
- Have a thorough working knowledge of all services and products the spa offers.
- Conduct skin analyses in accordance with the highest levels of professional expertise and customer care.
- Provide consistent professional facial and body treatments in accordance with spa protocols and accepted certification practices.
- Actively promote home care programs, meeting minimum retail sales goals.
- Uphold all standards of sterilization and sanitation as required by law and designated by the spas own standards of policies and procedures.
- Regularly attend and participate in staff meetings and pertinent training.
- Keep your designated treatment roomas well as all staff areas you might have access to-clean, uncluttered and organized.
- Properly care for equipment, and always use the designated amounts of product on guests in accordance with measures aimed at cost control.
- Exude a positive attitude and personally contribute to a high-quality work environment.
- Perform prep work and properly clean and restock room as required.
- Actively promote the spa, treatments, services, sessions and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available.
