What are the responsibilities and job description for the Night Caregiver position at Grace Home Care?
Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and vigilant Night Caregiver to provide dedicated overnight support for an elderly bed-bound woman, 2-3 nights per week.
Duties
- Repositioning and turning the client to prevent pressure injuries
- Brief changing and incontinence care
- Administering feedings through a G-tube (PEG tube)
- Providing oral care and personal hygiene assistance
- Monitoring and recording vital signs
- Administering medications
- Observing and reporting any changes in condition
- PT exercises as directed
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environment
Skills
- Previous experience caring for elderly or medically fragile clients preferred but not required, will train
- Experience with G-tube/PEG tube feeding and medication administration preferred but not required, will train
- Ability to perform repositioning, and personal care tasks safely, will train
- Familiarity with vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and safe patient lifting practices.

Pay: $18.50 - $22.00 per hour
