Grace Hebert Curtis Architects (GHC) is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Generalist to join our team. This role will support the HR Director in executing critical human resource functions, including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, payroll processing, policy implementation, benefits administration, and HR compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting processes including posting job openings, screening resumes, coordinating interviews, and managing candidate communications.
• Facilitate onboarding procedures to ensure seamless employee integration.
• Administer employee benefits, manage enrollments, changes, and inquiries.
• Process payroll accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with wage and hour laws.
• Support employee relations efforts, addressing questions and resolving workplace issues promptly and effectively.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS system updates.
• Assist in policy development, communication, and implementation.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
  
  

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in human resources.
• Prior experience with payroll processing required; familiarity with ADP Workforce Now is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of HR best practices and employment legislation.
• Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Proficiency with HRIS systems and MS Office Suite.
