We are seeking a compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical examinations, health assessments, and diagnostic evaluations to determine patient needs.
- Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with state and federal regulations, including DEA guidelines.
- Manage acute and chronic conditions.
- Utilize electronic health record for accurate medical documentation and patient records management.
- Provide comprehensive primary care to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients within the provider's education, certification, licensure, and scope of practice.
- Perform new-patient evaluations, annual physicals, preventive examinations, Medicare Annual Wellness Visits, follow-up visits, and acute/sick visits.
- Order, perform, and interpret appropriate laboratory tests, diagnostic studies, and imaging.
- Initiate and manage referrals to specialists and coordinate patient care with other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
- Valid state licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner with current certification from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
- Demonstrated experience working in primary care settings with proficiency in medical office operations and EMR/EHR systems.
- Strong clinical skills including physical examinations, diagnostic evaluation, medication administration, and patient assessment.
- Experience working with diverse populations.
- Knowledge of healthcare diagnosis coding systems such as ICD-10/ICD-9 and CPT coding for billing purposes.
- Excellent client communication skills.
