Berean Christian School is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant for the Athletic Director.
The Athletic Director's Assistant is responsible for supporting the Athletic Director in the daily tasks that are required of the Berean Athletics office. Also, the Athletic Director Assistant position is a part-time position, and therefore, 25-29 hours per week will be expected. At Berean Athletics, we firmly believe that we are the outward representation of Berean Christian School. Therefore, we are representing Christ as we go out into the world and compete in athletic events. As an athletics team, both the Athletic Director and Athletic Director Assistant will be responsible for ensuring that our students and coaching staff are representing Christ, Berean Christian School, and Grace Fellowship in a God honoring way.
A relationship with Jesus Christ and viewing your position as a ministry is essential. Candidates must be a regular attending member in good standing at a church of “like-faith”. Specific daily responsibilities include:
- Confirm all items on Shared Microsoft List
- Confirm that Maxpreps and Arbiter Sports Align for guaranteed Referee presence at games.
- Reply to All emails and Phone calls within 24 HRS of receiving them.
- Generate Key distribution for bus drivers.
- Ensure payment for all bus drivers is submitted to HR
- Ensure all Game Stats have been updated to the appropriate software.
- Organize, assign, and deposit all cash deposits from the previous day prior to 12:00 PM.
- Reach out to all game operations personnel to confirm they will be present when necessary.
- Maintain an accurate calendar where appropriate
Other responsibilities include:
- Schedule transportation, hotels, and coverage for all tournaments.
- Create, verify, and purchase all awards for the Athletic Awards Banquet.
- Plan, schedule, and attend the Athletic Awards Banquet.
- Evaluate Transportation calendar, Schedule Drivers, ensure fueling
- Confirm weekly alignment of game/practice schedule with Espace
- All parent/team communication emails. (Includes reminders for try-outs, fundraisers, school events, etc.)
- Confirm the accuracy of all Eligibility of all students and upload to FHSAA
- Send Weekly Dismissal Schedule
- Send Weekly Game Ops Report
