Assignment Details

- Schedule: 4x10-hour day shifts, varying start times between 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Weekends / Holidays: Weekdays only, no weekend call (EOW/Holiday coverage as needed)
- Type: Travel contract
- Facility note: Absolutely no license or background hits accepted
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years in Critical Care or Emergency Department
- Preferred: Prior travel experience
- Cath Lab Holding experience highly valued
- Skills Needed:
- Pre- and post-procedure care for patients undergoing minimally invasive cardiac procedures, such as:
- Coronary angioplasty
- Stent placement
- IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump)
- Impella support
- Electrophysiology studies and device implants
- Proficiency in managing cardiac drips and medications
- Critical care competency for cardiac patients
- Required:
- BLS & ACLS (American Heart Association only)
- Compact or Virginia RN License – must be in hand (no pending or temporary)
- EPIC proficiency – required, no exceptions
