Grace Engineering Corp. is a U.S.-based manufacturer of premium outdoor-sports equipment for G5 Outdoors and MRC where precision, durability, and reliability are critical. We are seeking a hands-on Quality Manager with strong CNC machining experience to lead quality systems and drive continuous improvement on the shop floor.
This role is ideal for someone who understands machining processes, tolerances, and believes quality is built into the process — not inspected at the end.
Responsibilities
- Lead and maintain the Quality Management System (ISO 9001 or similar)
- Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspection for CNC-machined parts
- Develop and implement control plans, inspection standards, and PFMEAs
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions (8D, Fishbone, etc.)
- Implement and monitor SPC and process capability (Cp/Cpk)
- Work directly with machinists, CNC programmers, and engineers to resolve quality issues
- Manage CMM programming, gauges, and measurement systems
- Maintain calibration systems and quality records
- Support supplier quality and incoming material validation
- Promote a culture of accountability, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- 5 years of Quality experience in a CNC machining or manufacturing environment
- Prior Quality Manager or Quality Engineer leadership experience preferred
- Strong understanding of CNC machining processes and tolerances
- Proficient in GD&T and blueprint reading
- Experience with CMM inspection and measurement equipment
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems
- Experience with SPC, root cause analysis, and corrective action
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work on the shop floor as well as in documentation systems
