Job Overview

Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in industrial and commercial settings, following all local electrical codes and NFPA 70 compliance standards.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and schematics to accurately execute wiring layouts and system configurations.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters, multimeters, and power tools to identify faults quickly and efficiently.
- Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely while adhering to electrical safety procedures and NEC (National Electrical Code) guidelines.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems, including low voltage control wiring, industrial electrical systems, and high-voltage circuits to ensure optimal performance.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete electrical wiring projects on construction sites or during renovations.
- Read blueprints and schematics accurately for precise installation or repair work; interpret technical drawings related to industrial or commercial electrical systems.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Electrician with a strong background in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards and compliance requirements.
- Skilled in electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting complex electrical systems efficiently.
- Ability to read electrical blueprints, schematics, and blueprints with confidence.
- Familiarity with local electrical codes, safety procedures, and low voltage systems.
- Construction site experience with renovation projects or new installations preferred.
- Strong hand tool proficiency along with experience using ohmmeters, multimeters, power tools, and other diagnostic equipment.
