Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide quality nursing care under the direction of registered nurses and physicians.
Responsibilities
- Perform airway management and acute pain management procedures
- Assist with lifting and transferring patients safely
- Participate in sterile processing techniques
- Collaborate with the healthcare team in internal medicine and cardiac catheterization procedures
- Work in a Level I Trauma Center environment, including operating rooms (OR)
- Conduct IV insertions with precision and care
- Utilize anatomy knowledge to deliver effective patient care
Experience
- Previous experience in airway management, acute pain management, and IV insertion preferred
- Familiarity with sterile processing techniques is a plus
- Exposure to internal medicine, cardiac catheterization, and Level I Trauma Center settings is advantageous
- Knowledge of OR protocols and procedures
- Strong anatomy knowledge for accurate patient assessment and care
