Position Summary
The Front Desk Administrative Assistant serves as the welcoming first point of contact for all who enter the school - students, families, staff, and visitors. This position ensures the smooth daily operation of the school office by managing communication, maintaining records, and providing administrative support to staff and administrators.

- Previous administrative or office experience preferred, ideally in a school or ministry environment.

- Associates degree or equivalent or 2 years experience in a related field.
Responsibilities
- Provides a welcoming and Christ-like first entry point for the school, including answering phone calls, emails, and greeting walk-in visitors with warmth and professionalism.
- Directs individuals and requests to the correct employee in a timely and efficient manner.
- Manages substitute teachers, including scheduling and ensuring classroom coverage as needed.
- Manages and maintains accurate student records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with school policies.
- Provides daily support to teachers and students, including assistance with minor injuries, phone calls home, bathroom breaks, and general needs throughout the day.
- Maintains an ongoing awareness of school needs and proactively assists in addressing them.
- Monitors student attendance, absences, tardies, and behavioral records, and communicates updates to appropriate staff.
- Communicates with parents regarding issues that arise during the school day.
- Actively participates in emergency and safety preparedness, drills, and real-world responses.
- When applicable, provides executive administrative support to school administrators, including scheduling, document preparation, and event coordination.
Physical and Work Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and assist students as needed.
- Flexibility to handle changing priorities and unexpected needs during the school day.
