Nurse Practitioner

Grace Clinic
Mundelein, IL Full Time
POSTED ON 10/13/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 11/11/2026

For over 24 years, Grace Clinic has been the only free clinic in the Tri-Cities, delivering high-quality healthcare to the medically under-served at no cost. This mission is carried out through the hands of 150 medical volunteers. At the heart of that model stands one essential, paid clinical role: the Staff Nurse Practitioner.

This position is the connective tissue of our care model. Each week, you will provide direct, hands-on care to uninsured and low-income patients who have nowhere else to turn. Because we don't bill for services, you can take time with patients to build the kind of personal connection that's often lost in fee-for-service care. Yet, your impact multiplies far beyond your own patient panel. As one of our few clinical staff members, you provide the continuity, clinical oversight, and steady presence that allow our volunteer & resident physicians, nurse practitioners, and healthcare students to show up and serve confidently in a warm and welcoming environment.

As a faith-based clinic, we're looking for a compassionate clinical leader — someone who finds purpose in treating the patient in front of them and in mentoring the volunteer and trainee working beside them. If you want a role where your clinical skill directly sustains a community-supported model of care, and where your leadership multiplies the impact of hundreds of volunteers, please call to learn more.

  • Ability to work on-site full time, manage a consistent patient schedule, and maintain professional boundaries and ethics.
  • Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) or higher; clinical experience in community health, primary care, or similar settings is preferred.
  • Comfort working in a faith-based, mission-driven environment and supporting the clinic’s focus on serving those in need.
