Responsibilities
- Accompany congregational singing during worship services and special events using piano only.
- Will assist the Song Leader with appropriate hymns and contemporary pieces that align with the service themes and liturgical calendar.
- Perform rehearsals for choir members or soloists as needed to ensure cohesive musical presentations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in religious music performance, including hymnody.
- Strong knowledge of various music genres blending traditional and contemporary styles.
- Proficiency in playing piano and electronic keyboards is a necessary
- Ability to read sheet music fluently.
- Ability to harmonize melodies, and adapt arrangements for different service needs a plus.
