Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Math/Science Teacher at Grace Christian Academy, located in Merrick, NY. The Math/Science Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons in mathematics and science for grades 7-12. The role involves creating lesson plans, assessing student progress, and fostering a classroom environment that supports academic and spiritual growth in alignment with GCA's mission.
Qualifications
- Experience in teaching Math and/or Science
- Qualified Teacher, with skills in classroom management and communication
- Proficiency in creating structured and effective Lesson Plans
- Active membership in a Bible-believing church and a clear Christian testimony
- Ability to integrate Biblical perspectives within academic instruction
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, or related field preferred
