JOB SUMMARY
To serve as Kitchen Staff, fulfilling GCA's mission to Lead, Build, and Equip students through the preparation and service of nutritious meals in a safe, welcoming, and Christ-centered environment.

General Description of Duties and Responsibilities
Kitchen Staff will reflect high professional standards, integrity, and a commitment to excellence within a Christian school environment. This position is accountable for assisting with food preparation, meal service, sanitation, and daily cafeteria operations.

Essential Job Requirements
- Required to work cooperatively with the cafeteria team under the direction of the Director of Food Services.
- Assist with the preparation, portioning, and presentation of food according to established menus and procedures.
- Set up serving lines and food stations prior to meal service.
- Serve meals to students, faculty, staff, and guests in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Maintain proper food handling, storage, and temperature control procedures in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Follow all sanitation, food safety, and cleanliness standards required by local, state, and school guidelines.
- Assist with receiving, storing, rotating, and stocking food and cafeteria supplies.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, food preparation areas, serving stations, dining areas, and storage areas.
- Wash dishes, utensils, trays, and food service equipment according to established procedures.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Must not discuss confidential school business or student information.
- Demonstrate initiative in identifying ways to support cafeteria operations and student needs.
- Work effectively as a member of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Other duties as assigned
