Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments of patients, including toddlers and infants.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Provide acute pain management strategies for patients experiencing discomfort.
- Perform IV insertion and manage intravenous therapy effectively.
- Assist with tube feeding for patients requiring nutritional support.
- Deliver specialized care in memory care units, addressing the unique needs of patients with cognitive impairments.
- Support patients undergoing procedures in an ambulatory surgery center, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Monitor vital signs and patient conditions, intervening as necessary to maintain optimal health status.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and families on health management, treatment options, and preventive care strategies.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Experience in toddler and infant care is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in performing physical examinations and managing acute pain effectively.
- Familiarity with IV insertion techniques and tube feeding procedures is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in memory care or an ambulatory surgery center is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to educate patients clearly.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining patient confidentiality.
